Chance and Services for Youth (CASY) has plans to welcome their
inaugural Hot Air Balloon Festival.

The two-day event will take September 23rd and 24th at
the Terre Haute Regional Airport.

The festival will feature live music, vendors, and food
trucks on one of the airports runways.

Proceeds from the event will go towards CASY projects.
Chief Operating Officer for CASY Brandon Halleck said
they expect three to four thousand people each night.

“We really want everyone to bring their kids out and
enjoy the airport,” Halleck said. “You may not normally
get the chance to look at balloons, so we plan to make it
a fun weekend for everybody.”

For ticket information visit the link below.  Tickets will not
be available the day of the event and will go up $5 Sept.
5th and must be purchased online.

I am pleased to announce June 1, 2022, Mr. Keith Welsh will be the new Chapter 83 President. Keith brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and wisdom to the chapter and has great ideas for the future of the organization.  It has been my pleasure serving our aviation community and I will continue to enjoy and promote general aviation. Thank you everyone for making this a great experience and I look forward to the future with Keith as our mentor.
